How to replace a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2500HD 3500HD Fender Flares?
1.Unbolt Fender Flares
Unbolt your existing fender flares and remove them from the vehicle. Typically, factory fender flares are held on by bolts mounted from the backside that can be accessed by reaching behind the fender.
2.Compare New One With Old Fender Flare
Lay your new fender flare against the body of your vehicle to make sure it fits correctly. The front edge should line up with the bumper, and the bottom edge should line up with the bottom of the fender.
3.Put Drill Holes If Needed
If your vehicle didn’t come with flares, you’ll need to drill holes into the body. Follow the template that comes with your kit.
4.Install New Fender Flares
Install the double-sided foam tape on the backside of the fender flare. Wait until you’re ready to install before peeling off the second side of the tape. Next, align the holes on the fender flare with the holes in the vehicle body, and apply.
5.Repeat Process For All Side
Bolt the flare to the body. Repeat the process for each fender.
