Ford Ranger fuel tank filler hose
This hose shape worked fine. Only issue was the metal plate as a wear guard held in place with electrical tape. I had to reposition this plate to correctly position using the old hose as well as visually seeing where extra protection is needed.

Only able to use outer hose
First, the item I received did not have the integrated / captive hose clamp on the tank side of the large outer hose as pictured. Both hoses were too long for my ranger, so those had to be cut down (there goes the 10 year warranty). Once attached to the tank, I realized the premade holes in the neck mounting flange don't line up right, no matter which direction the filler is turned. Had to drill new holes in the flange to get it to mount to the bed. After that, tried to add gas via a portable gas tank and had it overflow on me. Drove to gas station and pump shuts off automatically... Took the bed back off and removed the new filler assembly. Loosened the clamp at the metal neck and pulled it back, saw the inner hose was kinked. The inner hose on this part is flimsy, whereas the inner ... I removed the outer hose from the new assembly and was able to work it onto the old neck and stiff inner hose. I had to file some sharp burrs on the oem neck. This is probably what leads to the failure in the first place. I also tightened up the hose clamp on the inner tube before I put the new hose on. Once I had the truck buttoned back up, I ran to the gas station and it worked. So if your outer hose is cracked, check if the original stiff inner hose is ok and just buy a new outer hose and work that onto the tube and filler neck.

Well constructed.
The item went on without any issues, although I already had the bed completely off the vehicle. Which gave complete access, allowing the initial removal and new replacement extremely easy. Not sure how things would have went, had the bed stayed on. I lifted the bed with a forklift, because I had one. Two people could lift the bed off as it was only 6' long and the vehicle was a Ford Ranger. I suggest removing the tail gate to make the lifting a little easier.The item went on without any issues, although I already had the bed completely off the vehicle. Not an exact fit.
Long story short. 1. You must cut both inner and outer hose back so it will fit into the fuel tank. Hose is too long. 2. You will need to drill new holes in the filler opening cause the ones drilled don’t align with the ones on the bed.
