Fit In Five Steps
How to replace a Ford F-150 Front Rear Mud Flaps Set Wheel Lip Mouldings Flairs?
1.Secure the Vehicle
Apply the parking brake and put the car in “Park” position. Find a flat, stable and safe place to change your tire. Never change a tire on an incline or hill; always seek a flat surface, even if it means driving on a flat tire. Use bricks, wooden wedges, or metal wheel chocks to block the wheels at the opposite end of the car from the end that is to be raised.
2.Clean the wheel area
Clean the area where the mud flaps will be installed. Turn the front wheels to the left fully for the most clearance between the tire and wheel well.
3.Check for placement
Test that the flaps will work for your vehicle by holding them up and comparing them to the shape and fit of the space available and check for an “RH” or “LH” mark for proper placement.
4.Install New Mudguard
Your vehicle should have holes factory drilled into the wheel well for these mud flaps to work. Locate these holes and remove the screws that are currently in place. Move mud flaps into place and reinstall screws into the holes in wheel well to install mud flaps, without fully tightening
5.Rearrange all Parts
Adjust placement and angle of mud flaps and fully tighten screws. Install any additional screws, nuts, or bolts that may have come with the mud flaps.
